A complete purchase on your website
Customers can choose a size or another product variant, see the delivery cost and place an order. You get tools for managing products, stock, orders and discounts. I build the flow around your range and the way you work.
This suits a brand, seller or workshop when customers can complete their purchase online. If every order starts with a quote or a conversation, consider a catalogue with product enquiries.
A foundation you can develop
Medusa is an open commerce platform. It already covers products, variants, carts, orders, discounts and stock. Specific ordering rules, delivery calculations or catalogue imports can be added as separate modules; I estimate that work in advance.
Medusa’s core is distributed under the MIT licence. The server, database, payment provider and other connected services have separate running costs. Enterprise features such as role-based access control and single sign-on are licensed separately.
Try the buying journey in the demo
Open the demonstration store, choose a product and proceed to checkout. This demonstrates the functionality with sample products; it is not a client project. Your store gets a design developed separately.
Real payment and delivery are not connected in the demo. The Online store page explains what you can explore now and what is configured for each merchant.
The store stays yours
The source code, domain and server are put under your control. The open platform’s documentation helps another developer continue the work if you choose to change contractors.
Tell me what you sell, where you keep the catalogue and how you ship orders. That is enough to begin reviewing the task. The pricing page gives a budget guide.
