  5. 5I set up error tracking and backups if they are missing.
  6. 6I stand behind my changes: if my edit causes a fault, I fix it without an additional charge.

Start with a clear plan

Send me the website link and describe what is getting in the way: missing enquiries, a catalogue that is hard to update, a new page you need or a list of smaller improvements. I begin by getting familiar with the project and reading the code.

The initial review is free. You receive a task list with priorities and estimates. It stays yours even if another developer does the work. The depth of the review depends on the project information available.

Know what you are paying for

Before starting, I agree on the task, price and result. If the agreed work takes me longer than expected, I do not revise the estimate afterwards. Additional requests are discussed separately.

The task list shows progress: what is done, what is in progress and what should come next. The guide by type of work helps you plan a budget.

One-off help or ongoing support

A one-off task suits a specific fault, new page or feature. You get an estimate before work starts.

A batch of tasks works well when small changes have accumulated. I estimate the whole list, work through the priorities and show the result of each item.

Ongoing support covers an agreed amount of work per month: updates, monitoring, small changes and replies during working hours. It suits a website that needs regular attention and improvements.

Projects I work with

My main stack is JavaScript and TypeScript: Node.js, React, Next.js, Astro and Vue. I also maintain Ruby and Rails projects, as well as Python and PHP applications. I confirm whether I can work with a particular website after reviewing its code.

Enterprise systems in Java, C# and C++ fall outside my stack. If your project needs a different specialist, I will say so at the initial review.
